Senior Adobe Commerce (Magento) Software Engineer Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Adobe Commerce (Magento) Software Engineer to join our team. As a Software Engineer, you will play a crucial role in our software, system, and test engineering projects. You will utilize your deep knowledge of Adobe Commerce (Magento) and related technologies to design and develop robust, scalable, and efficient solutions while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop robust solutions using Adobe Commerce (Magento) and related technologies
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement project requirements
• various design patterns in practice to ensure efficient and scalable solutions
• Contribute to Agile software development practices
• Work closely with team members to integrate with other systems and technologies
• Ensure the quality and reliability of software solutions through effective testing
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives

Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years' experience in Adobe Commerce/Magento development
• At least 1 year of experience working with Adobe Commerce GraphQL and Rest APIs for headless implementation
• 2 years' experience working with Adobe Commerce Cloud and ece-tools
• Proficiency in OOP, Design Patterns, PHP, and MySQL
• Experience with version control systems (Subversion, Git, or Mercurial)
• Familiarity with Agile software development practices
• Ability to work effectively in a distributed team
• Reliability, responsibility, and strong communication skills
• Fluent spoken and written English (Intermediate level or higher)

Nice to have

• Adobe Commerce Certification
• Experience with Catalog Service, Live Search, API Mesh
• Experience integrating with AEM
• Knowledge of Elasticsearch, Redis, Varnish, RabbitMQ
• Understanding of CI/CD processes and experience in writing different types of tests
