Hazardous Waster Operations Supervisor

Location: Andrews, TX

Hours: Onsite (Tues- Fri ) 4-10 scheduled

Direct Hire opportunity

Are you a hands-on leader with experience in waste management and low-level hazardous waste operations ? We are seeking an Operations Supervisor to oversee daily activities, ensure safety compliance, and optimize operational efficiency. This role involves supervising a team, coordinating projects, and maintaining regulatory standards while fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and coordinate operational activities related to low-level hazardous waste management .
Conduct daily pre-job briefings and oversee project execution.
Train team members on equipment usage, safety procedures, and operational best practices.
Monitor and adjust work procedures to meet production schedules.
Evaluate team performance and provide coaching for skill advancement.
Maintain accurate documentation, including time records and production reports.
Collaborate with other supervisors to ensure seamless operations.
Support emergency management efforts as needed.

What We’re Looking For:

Education & Experience: Associate’s degree in engineering, construction technology, hazardous waste management, environmental science, or a related field OR equivalent experience.
Leadership & Communication: Ability to lead teams, enforce safety standards, and communicate effectively with various stakeholders.
Technical & Problem-Solving Skills: Experience in waste processing, equipment operation, production scheduling, and process improvement.
Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, work in varying weather conditions, and wear necessary personal protective equipment.
