Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Summer Associate to join our team. As a Summer Associate, you will play a key role in sourcing and evaluating potential investment opportunities, performing market research and thesis development initiatives, and support portfolio management efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Market Research & Industry Analysis:
  • Conduct sector and company-specific research to identify potential investment opportunities.
  • Stay up to date on industry trends, market dynamics, and competitive landscape to inform investment decisions.
• Investment Research, Analysis & Due Diligence:
  • Assist in the preparation of investment memoranda, including analysis of financial statements, market trends, and industry outlook.
  • Perform due diligence on target companies, including reviewing legal, financial, and operational information.
  • Conduct research on investment theses including primary, secondary sources.
• Deal Execution:
  • Support senior team members in deal sourcing, structuring, and negotiation efforts.
  • Assist in preparing investment presentations for internal investment committees and external stakeholders.
• Portfolio Management:
  • Develop performance dashboards and metrics to track key performance indicators (KPIs) across the portfolio.
• Team Collaboration & Support:
  • Work closely with senior team members to support various aspects of the investment process. There will be opportunities for training, mentorship, and networking over the course of the internship.

Qualifications:

• Must be age 21
• Experience:
  • Prior experience in venture capital, investment banking, management consulting, or startups is a plus.
  • Proven experience in market research and project management.
• Education:
  • Working towards a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Accounting, or a related field from a top-tier institution.
• Technical Skills:
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (data analysis, presentation creation, etc.).
• Personal Skills:
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively within a team and interact with external partners.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-starter with a strong work ethic and a passion for consumer driven companies.

Compensation:

• This will be an unpaid internship.
