SUMMARY:

The Temp-Talent Development Follow-Up Specialist is responsible for tracking participant progress related to Measurable Skills Gains (MSGs) and credential attainment in alignment with performance measures. This role ensures timely and accurate documentation, conducts regular outreach to participants and training providers, and supports data integrity for reporting and compliance. The Follow-Up Specialist is also responsible for capturing and documenting instances of obtained employment during the participation period, ensuring that all employment information is accurately recorded to track outcomes and contribute to performance goals.

  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with candidates, offering clear communication and guidance throughout the application and interview process.
  • Address candidate inquiries and concerns promptly, ensuring a positive and respectful candidate experience.
  • Implement strategies to keep candidates engaged and informed about various employment opportunities.
  • Provide candidates with comprehensive information about job openings, employers, and the local job market.
  • Offer personalized coaching to candidates, including interview preparation, resume building, and presentation skills enhancement.
  • Equip candidates with insights and advice to empower their job search and professional growth.
  • Maintain accurate records of candidate interactions, interviews, and progress using appropriate systems.
  • Conduct regular follow-ups with program participants to track progress on Measurable Skills Gains (MSGs) and credential attainment.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of skill gains, educational milestones, and certifications in compliance with company guidelines.
  • Coordinate with training providers and case managers to verify completion of educational benchmarks and credentials.
  • Input and update MSG and credential data in designated systems to ensure reporting accuracy.
  • Identify and resolve gaps in participant records related to training outcomes or credential documentation.
  • Assist with outreach efforts to encourage participants to submit required proof of credentials or progress.
  • Prepare reports and summaries of MSG and credential outcomes for internal review and compliance monitoring.

DESIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

  • Demonstrated success in follow-up, recruiting, talent acquisition, or staffing, with experience in addressing hard-to-fill roles and managing high-volume hiring.
  • Proficiency in utilizing diverse recruitment methods, online tools, and applicant tracking systems.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage candidates, employers, and partners effectively.
  • Strong organizational aptitude and multitasking abilities to manage a variety of job openings and recruitment projects simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of local labor market trends, employment regulations, and hiring best practices.
  •  Resilience in a fast-paced environment, along with an optimistic attitude and collaborative mindset, Proficiency in the use of computer reporting and database programs.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Business Management, Public Administration, Economics, Communication, Social Science, or related field preferred from a recognized 4-year college or university; Or
  • 2-3 years full-time equivalent work experience in direct experience in business administration, marketing, or human resources in public or private sector (Preferred)
  • Experience in customer job placement and job retention.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must possess and provide a valid Texas Driver's License and Automobile Liability Insurance as required by the State of Texas.
  • Must have access to reliable transportation in order to make required home visits.

  • WORK ENVIRONMENT : Fast paced, demanding physically and mentally, will be in constant communications.
