Job Summary

We are seeking a  Senior Systems Administrator  to support the stable operation of enterprise software systems and network infrastructure. This critical role involves planning, installing, configuring, and maintaining systems while optimizing performance and supporting end users across a multi-site environment.

The ideal candidate will be experienced in leading system administration operations, providing hands-on technical solutions, and directing a team of system administrators to maintain enterprise-level systems and applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, configure, support, and optimize computer software systems and network connections.

• Manage installation, upgrades, and maintenance of servers and enterprise applications.

• Troubleshoot and resolve software, system, and connectivity issues.

• Conduct performance tuning, capacity planning, and system health monitoring.

• Recommend system enhancements, configuration changes, and automation improvements.

• Create and implement system administrator procedures and training programs.

• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior system administrators.

• Perform vulnerability management and ensure fault tolerance across systems.

• Support both local and remote maintenance of operational systems at multiple locations.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to align technology strategies with business objectives.

• Manage high availability solutions, including load balancing and disaster recovery strategies.

Required Qualifications

• BA/BS in a technical discipline with at least 10 years of specialized experience.
• (Specialized experience is defined as progressive experience in the field of Information
  Technology, where the majority are specialized in numerous specialized Information
  Technology disciplines involving a range of hardware/software solutions, at least four
  years of which are concentrated, hand-on experience in installing, configuring,
  maintaining and resolving issues with various software.
  
   
• Must possess IT-I Critical Sensitive security clearance or Tier 5 (T5)
• Relevant RHCSA or CompTIA Linux+ certification from a nationally recognized technical authority.
• Clearance: Secret

 

Preferred Skills

• Strong scripting and automation experience.

• Experience leading enterprise-level system administration efforts.

• In-depth knowledge of application networking and fault-tolerant system design.

• Experience managing hybrid environments with both on-prem and cloud-based systems.
