Premium Airport Lounge Cook, Delta Sky Club

Pay Rate: $18.85 per hour.

Location: Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport.

Candidates must be able to successfully pass a TSA background check and be authorized to work in the United States.

Your Role:

As a Delta Sky Club Premium Airport Lounge Cook , you will prepare and present high quality menu items that reflect premium ingredients, seasonal offerings, and global influences. You will work in a fast paced, polished kitchen environment where consistency, cleanliness, and collaboration are essential to delivering an exceptional guest experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, portion, cook, and present hot and cold food items for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and special events.
  • Execute menu items accurately and efficiently while maintaining premium quality standards.
  • Prepare foods that may require short preparation times, including grill and a la carte items.
  • Follow recipes, production sheets, and verbal instructions with precision.
  • Maintain exceptional food quality, taste, and presentation at all times.
  • Operate kitchen equipment safely to wash, peel, cut, trim, and prepare ingredients.
  • Taste and evaluate products to ensure consistency and quality.
  • Assist with inventory, receiving, and proper storage of food and supplies.
  • Maintain clean and sanitized workstations in accordance with all safety and sanitation standards.
  • Support special dietary needs and allergen awareness protocols.

Food Safety and Compliance:

  • Follow all Sodexo HACCP policies and food safety procedures.
  • Attend required allergy awareness and foodborne illness training.
  • Comply with all company safety, risk management, and regulatory requirements.
  • Report all accidents or injuries promptly.
  • Participate in safety meetings, training sessions, and hazard assessments.

Schedule and Availability:

  • Flexible availability required, including nights, weekends, and some holidays.
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential.

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
  • Two to three years of culinary experience in a professional kitchen.
  • Working knowledge of kitchen equipment and food preparation techniques.
  • Ability to read and execute recipes independently.

Skills and Professional Standards:

  • Maintains a polished, professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Demonstrates integrity, maturity, and sound judgment.
  • Communicates respectfully and effectively with teammates and leadership.
  • Maintains a positive attitude in a fast paced environment.
  • Basic computer skills preferred.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, up to eight hours.
  • Ability to bend, reach, stoop, push, pull, and lift up to 35 pounds regularly, occasionally up to 40 pounds.
  • Visual acuity including close, distance, and peripheral vision.

Working Environment:

  • Primarily indoor, climate controlled kitchen environment.
  • Moderate to loud noise levels during peak service times.
  • Occasional exposure to varying temperatures while supporting operations.
