City/State Williamsburg, VA Work Shift First (Days) Overview: Additional Job Description SENTARA WILLIAMSBURG REGIONAL MEDICAL CENTER REGISTERED NURSE ENDOSCOPY / OUTPATIENT SURGERY PART TIME - 32hrs in 2 weeks DAYS INCLUDES SOME WEEKEND AND NIGHT TIME CALL average call is 1 day/week 1600-2200 and Saturday/Sunday per month- Hrs 0700-2200 for each day. Up to $7,500 bonus REQUIREMENTS: Previous RN experience in CRITICAL CARE, or PRE/POST/PACU REQUIRED The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for performing a competent level of nursing care as demonstrated by the critical thinking model known as the nursing process. The standards of practice (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation, coordination of care- teaching and health promotion and evaluation) along with the standards of professional performance (ethics, culturally congruent practice, communication, collaboration, leadership, education, evidence- based practice /nursing research, quality, evaluation, resource utilization, and environmental health) encompass the actions and foundation of professional nursing. The RN possesses clinical knowledge and skills to meet standards as required by specific clinical areas. All Direct Care RN's required to have BLS within 90 days of hire. EDUCATION: RN Degree: RN Diploma, ADN, BSN or MSN CERTIFICATIONS and or LICENSURE: REQUIRED RN License valid to work in the State of Virginia ACLS, BLS & NIHSS As a Registered Nurse with Sentara, you can excel in your career.
