Job Description

**Device Assembler **

Pay Rate: Flexible depending on experience. (Target range $22-25/ hour. There can be flex for the perfect candidate.)

Location: Upton, MA

Duration: 3-6 Month Contract.

This is a contract only opportunity BUT they have converted previous contractors to fulltime if they really liked them and had an opening internally

Shift: First Shift (7:30AM – 4:00PM w/ 30-minute break) OT possible.

Start: Next orientation is 12/15.

Notes:

  • Looking for 3 contract assemblers to start 12/15 OR 1/5.
  • Hands on putting together little parts
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Microscope work is NOT required. Only requirement is assembly experience in a GMP environment, 2+ years. Must be in biotech/ pharma/ med device industries
  • HS diploma
  • 2-5 yrs in GMP env. In biotech/pharma
  • Background check – no drug test.

Position Overview

This role operates within a regulated environment, ensuring compliance with industry standards, maintaining product quality, and adhering to safety protocols. The position requires excellent hand-eye coordination due to the small-scale nature of our products.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Execute manufacturing batch records and protocols in accordance with GMP standards and company procedures.

  • Accurately document all production activities and maintain associated quality records in compliance with GMP regulations.

  • Review and verify production records and logbooks for accuracy and completeness.

  • Perform routine cleaning activities and maintain logs for manufacturing areas and equipment.

  • Provide guidance to other associates as needed.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with other departments

  • Operate and maintain manufacturing equipment per established procedures.

Required Skills & Knowledge

  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
  • Experience in manufacturing and laboratory safety.
  • Previous experience with medical device assembly
  • Familiarity with automated systems and processes (preferred).
  • Ability to lift and move equipment up to 25 lbs.

Education:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Experience:

  • 1–5 years of experience in a GMP-regulated environment, preferably in the pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical, or medical device industry (not required).
