Scope of Project
The State of South Carolina, through Clemson University, is seeking an experienced Programmer Advanced to support Medicaid IT Services. The role focuses on mainframe-based application development and maintenance, ensuring stability and enhancement of critical Medicaid systems.
Responsibilities
Develop, maintain, and enhance mainframe applications supporting Medicaid systems
Write, test, and debug COBOL programs
Create and manage JCL for batch processing
Work with IDMS databases for data access and manipulation
Perform production support and issue resolution
Collaborate with technical and business teams to meet project objectives
Required/Preferred Skills
Required Skills:
5+ years of experience with Mainframe programming
5+ years of experience with COBOL
5+ years of experience with JCL
5+ years of experience with IDMS Database
