Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team in Poughkeepsie, NY. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing facility. Your expertise in preventative maintenance, plumbing, and various mechanical systems will be essential in maintaining our equipment and facilities. Responsibilities

Perform routine maintenance and repairs on manufacturing equipment.
Conduct equipment troubleshooting and diagnostics to identify issues and implement effective solutions.
Perform facility maintenance and modifications as needed.
Carry out heavy equipment repairs and maintenance.
Perform machine safety inspections and ensure compliance with safety standards.
Set up machines for production runs and conduct manual machining as required.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs.
Collaborate with team members to improve facility operations and efficiency.

Qualifications

Proven experience in facilities maintenance, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
Strong skills in plumbing, and electrical troubleshooting.
Knowledge of industrial and manufacturing engineering principles preferred.
Experience with heavy equipment repair and maintenance.
Familiarity with machine safety inspections and setups for production runs.
Manual machining skills and welding experience are a plus.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail and the ability to prioritize projects.
Must meet physical requirements, including the ability to lift heavy objects up to 50 lbs.
