High School Social Science teacher--Long-term sub (Family Leave)

Overview:
Unique opportunity for the right person. We have a terrific Social Science teacher who is a star. She's also pregnant and will be out from October 1-March 1. She teaches World History, US History, and Government/Econ, and now you can too. She will start the year, assuming all goes well, and finish the year, and we would be thrilled if you could cover the middle. She will help you meet and transition. Her classes are small (18-25 kids), we have super supportive neighbor teachers, and Ms. S will be reachable to help all through her absence. And if we want, maybe we can build something more permanent too. Let's figure this out now while we have the calm of summer.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in the subject area.
• Excellent time management, planning, and organizational skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Resilience and a positive attitude.
