Career Renew is recruiting for one of its clients a Founding DevOps Engineer - Blockchain Infrastructure - candidates can be based anywhere but need to overlap at least 4 hours with PST timezone.
We are a native DeFi and data platform and we’re seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate has a strong background in managing Web3 nodes/clients, maintaining TypeScript-based backend systems, and implementing robust CI/CD pipelines.
Key Responsibilities
Design, deploy, and maintain high-availability node infrastructure (ETH and other major protocols)
Develop and maintain automated deployment pipelines for TypeScript-based backend
Implement monitoring, alerting, and logging solutions for nodes and backend services
Optimize resource utilization and cost management across cloud platforms
Ensure security best practices in infrastructure deployment and maintenance
Collaborate with backend developers to improve system reliability and performance
3+ years of DevOps/SRE experience, preferably in an institutional node operations firm.
1+ years experience managing Web3 nodes and blockchain infrastructure.
Proficiency in TypeScript and Node.js ecosystem, as well as experience with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure).
Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
Must be able to work on a 4 hour overlap with PST
