What You'll Do:

• Groom and style pets per pet parent’s requests and breed standards
• Provide full-service grooming, including brushing, bathing, nail trims, and more
• Ensure the health, safety, and comfort of all pets in your care
• Build lasting relationships with pet parents, offering product and service recommendations to support their pets’ well-being
• Maintain a clean, safe, and inviting grooming environment

What We're Looking For:

• Graduate of a grooming school OR 2+ years of professional grooming experience
• Proficiency in breed-standard cuts and grooming techniques
• Must supply your own professional grooming tools
• Knowledge of salon safety procedures and company standards
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods

LH Mercantile, LLC is a franchisee of Pet Supplies Plus that currently has 16 locations throughout the Chicago suburbs and Northwest Indiana. We offer self-service dog washes and full-service grooming salons as well as provide curbside pickup, delivery/autoship services. We offer an array of pet foods, supplies and accessories for dogs, cats, birds, reptiles, fish and small animals.
