Key Responsibilities:
Dispatch Operations in Waste Management:
Plan, organize, and coordinate daily dispatch activities to meet delivery schedules and customer requirements.
Monitor dispatch operations in real-time, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and resolving any issues or delays promptly.
Implement and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) to maintain consistency and quality in dispatch operations.
Team Leadership and Development:
Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of dispatch coordinators, drivers, and support staff to achieve performance goals and objectives.
Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide constructive feedback, and identify opportunities for training and development.
Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that promotes teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Customer Relationship Management:
Collaborate with the customer service and sales teams to understand client needs and expectations, and ensure exceptional service delivery.
Address customer inquiries, concerns, and feedback related to dispatch operations in a timely and professional manner.
Proactively identify opportunities to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty through innovative dispatch solutions and process improvements.
Fleet Management and Maintenance:
Oversee the maintenance and upkeep of company vehicles, ensuring they are in optimal condition for safe and reliable operation.
Coordinate vehicle inspections, repairs, and servicing to minimize downtime and maximize fleet efficiency.
Monitor fuel consumption, mileage, and other performance metrics to optimize fleet utilization and reduce operating costs.
Compliance and Safety:
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, laws, and company policies governing dispatch operations, including health and safety standards.
Conduct regular safety training sessions for dispatch personnel, emphasizing safe driving practices and emergency procedures.
Investigate and report any accidents, incidents, or violations, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in business administration, logistics, or a related field preferred.
Proven experience in dispatch management or logistics operations, with a minimum of [X] years in a leadership role.
