Monarch NC, a provider of high-quality and trauma-informed care for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, mental illness and substance use disorders, is seeking a dedicated Direct Support Professional to join our team in Mount Gilead, NC.

As a Direct Support Professional, you will support the people we serve in achieving their dreams and goals. You will administer their morning medications, handfeed meals (if needed), provide transportation to appointments, cook meals, and assist them with showers and personal care. You will also perform daily charting and documentation and provide cleaning and general upkeep of the residential home.

This is a full time position. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, 6 AM - 2 PM.

To qualify, candidates must have the following:

*A High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
*At least 1 year of experience working with people with intellectual disabilities, developmental disabilities, mental health and/or substance use diagnoses.
*A current and valid Driver's License is also required.
