Job Description
Are you passionate about web development? We're looking for a talented Web UI Engineer to join our team and work on exciting, mission-driven projects. As a Web UI Engineer, you'll design and implement modern, intuitive, and engaging web interfaces to visualize and interact with data from API services. You'll work closely with a collaborative team and contribute to both web UI and API development.
While your primary focus will be on developing web UIs, experience with API development and documentation is key to ensure seamless collaboration with other team members.
Position Requirements:
Must-Haves:
U.S. citizenship with a current U.S. government security clearance at the Secret level or higher (required at the time of application).
A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Graphic Design/Computer Graphics, or another relevant STEM field. Alternatively, candidates within 12 months of graduation are encouraged to apply.
Expertise in designing and implementing modern data visualization tools using semi-structured data formats.
Experience with modern web development frameworks such as ReactJS (preferred), Angular, or Vue.js.
Experience in creating and implementing automated tests for both web UIs and APIs.
Nice-to-Haves:
Experience using GitLab for source code management and task tracking.
Proficiency with programming languages such as C, Python, Java, and SQL.
Familiarity with mapping platforms such as GIS.
Experience designing and implementing relational database schemas.
Familiarity with API documentation standards such as Swagger/OpenAPI, Redoc, or APIDocJS.
Experience with deployment technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, Rancher, Ansible, or Vagrant.

Education and Experience:
Junior Level: A relevant bachelor's degree and at least 1 year of related experience.
Mid-Level: A relevant bachelor's degree with a minimum of 5 years of experience or a master's degree with at least 3 years of experience.

Salary and Compensation:
Hourly rate: $43.27 - $61.54 per hour. The final offer will depend on your experience, qualifications, and clearance level.
Additional Information:
This position requires a U.S. Government Security Clearance at the Secret level or higher. If an upgrade is necessary, it may take several years.
