As a General Service Associate within the U.S. Private Bank at J.P. Morgan you will be responsible for maintaining, deepening and enriching client relationships.  Y ou will provide telephone based support to clients that require account and transaction assistance among other inquiries.  You will partner with the broader Client Service organization, middle office and operations teams to deliver a seamless and integrated client experience across all Private Banking and firm products.

Job responsibilities

  • Research, follow-up, and resolve client inquiries and requests through effective interaction with clients, Client Service Associate teams, product partners, branch/operations areas and other staff in a timely and professional manner and in accordance with policies and procedures
  • Adhere to and maintain the firm’s controls policies and as well as protecting client assets against potential fraud activities
  • Utilize multiple systems, often simultaneously, to provide quick and thorough service to clients across all of their accounts

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Ability to work weekends and evenings as needed
  • Proven ability to operate effectively in a matrix organization with the ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills 
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) and Microsoft Outlook
  • Strong technical and problem solving acumen 

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • College degree or equivalent client service experience preferred
  • Experience with a wide array of financial products preferred
