Location: Charlotte, NC

Shift: Overnight (Part-Time)

Sheepdog Protective Services is seeking a vigilant and proactive Unarmed Security Guard for overnight roaming patrols at a recreational facility . This part-time position involves conducting foot and/or vehicle patrols , ensuring the safety of the property, and enforcing security protocols.

The ideal candidate is observant, dependable, and detail-oriented , with strong situational awareness and the ability to handle incidents calmly and professionally.

Key Responsibilities:

✅ Overnight Roaming Patrols

• Conduct scheduled foot and/or vehicle patrols of the facility grounds, buildings, and parking areas.
• Check for unlocked doors, unauthorized individuals, and suspicious activity .
• Ensure facility security policies are being followed by staff and visitors.

✅ Incident Response & Reporting

• Respond to alarms, disturbances, or security breaches promptly.
• De-escalate situations and report trespassers, safety hazards, or unusual activity .
• Complete detailed incident reports and maintain security logs for each shift.

✅ Customer Service & Safety Enforcement

• Provide a professional and reassuring presence while patrolling.
• Offer assistance to employees or authorized visitors as needed.
• Follow all post orders, safety procedures, and company policies .

Qualifications & Requirements:

🔹 Must be at least 18 years old  
🔹 High school diploma or GED required
🔹 Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation
🔹 Previous security, law enforcement, or military experience preferred
🔹 Valid state security guard license/certification (will certify the right applicant)
🔹 Ability to stand, walk, or remain stationary for extended periods
🔹 Strong attention to detail and ability to remain alert during overnight shifts
🔹 Excellent verbal and written communication skills
🔹 Reliable transportation to/from the facility
🔹 Must pass a background check and drug screening
