Description Please reach out to Melissa (Painter) Ford via LinkedIn for immediate consideration. We are looking for a detail-oriented Treasury Accountant to join our team in Sacramento, California. In this role, you will oversee various treasury and accounting functions, ensuring the efficient management of company accounts and financial transactions. This position is ideal for individuals with strong analytical skills and a solid understanding of financial operations. Responsibilities: - Review and authorize fund transfers between company accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance. - Process and approve wire payments to external parties in a timely manner. - Monitor daily bank activity and reconcile account balances to maintain accurate financial records. - Manage transfers between operating accounts and investment reserve accounts, ensuring proper documentation. - Record monthly income from interest, dividends, and other investment sources into the accounting system. - Prepare reconciliation reports and annual tax work papers for investment account income. - Oversee the company credit card program, including billing allocations and online card management. - Support miscellaneous treasury and accounting tasks as needed to maintain operational efficiency. Requirements - Proficiency in commercial online banking systems and related processes. - Experience with general ledger accounting, including journal entries and accruals. - Familiarity with financial statement preparation and reporting. - Hands-on experience with accounting software such as Yardi or QuickBooks. - Advanced Excel skills for data analysis and reporting. - Ability to manage multiple tasks while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams. - Completion of college-level accounting coursework, though a degree is not mandatory.
