About Us: NurseStar Medical Partners, LLC is a prominent healthcare staffing agency based in Austin, Texas. Our primary focus is connecting healthcare facilities with skilled travel nurses and allied healthcare professionals. We are looking for a highly motivated and dedicated Travel Nurse & Allied Business Development Representative to join our team, primarily responsible for nurturing client relationships and securing contracts with healthcare facilities.

Base Salary: $50,000 a Year plus Commission

Job Description:

As a Travel Nurse & Allied Health Recruiter at NurseStar Medical Partners, LLC, you will play a crucial role in sourcing, screening, and placing travel nurses and Allied Health professional in healthcare facilities across the United States. Your primary responsibility will be to identify, engage, and recruit talented healthcare providers, ensuring they are well-matched to our travel assignments.

Key Responsibilities:

Nurse and Allied Health Sourcing: Actively seek out highly skilled nurses and Allied Health professionals interested in travel opportunities. Utilize diverse sourcing channels, including job boards, social media, referrals, and partnerships with account management team.

Candidate Evaluation: Conduct thorough interviews and assessments to evaluate candidates' skills, experience, and preferences. Verify licenses, certifications, compensation, and credentials to ensure compliance with state and facility requirements.

Matchmaking: Collaborate with the nursing pipeline and account management team to identify and facilitate successful nurse and allied health-assignment matches. Clearly communicate contract details, benefits, and expectations to the nurses.

Compliance and Documentation: Oversee and maintain complete and up-to-date documentation for nurses, including licenses, certifications, and medical records. Collaborate with Compliance team to ensure all documents are always up-to-date.

Ongoing Support: Provide continuous support to travel nurses throughout their assignments, addressing any concerns, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring a positive experience.

Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, competitors' practices, and emerging healthcare needs to adapt recruitment strategies accordingly.

Data Management: Maintain accurate and organized records of nurse interactions, assignment details, and compliance documentation.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in healthcare staffing, nursing, or recruitment is a plus but not required.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of the healthcare industry is a plus but will train if no experience.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in using recruitment software and databases is a plus.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
