Advanced Construction Robotics, Inc. in Allison Park, PA is looking to hire a full-time Technical Writer to create and update documentation such as presentations, specification sheets, owner's manuals, and training material for our robots.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A TECHICAL WRITER

As a Technical Writer at a robotics company, you will be working as part of a larger team of software and hardware engineers, field and operations staff, and the marketing team. Meeting and working with other team members to gather their specialized knowledge to create operating manuals and training material for our customers. You will write, edit, and proofread the content. You will review drawings and consult with the engineering staff to produce specification sheets. In addition, you will work with the marketing team to create presentations and releases for sales and speaking engagements.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR A TECHNICIAL WRITER

  • Bachelor's degree in English, Technical Writing, or related field required.
  • 3 years of related experience required
  • Familiar with engineering drawings
  • Exceptional technical writing skills
  • Excellent organizational habits
  • US work authorization, no visa sponsorship
  • Writing samples will be requested as part of the screening process
