Salary: $68,640 - 82,000 per year Requirements:

• U.S. Citizenship is required due to the sensitivity of customer-related requirements.
• High school diploma or GED with 10 years of experience, Associates degree with 4 years of experience, or a bachelors degree in IT with 2 years of experience.
• Must be eligible for a Top Secret security clearance and maintain it throughout employment.
• This role requires onsite presence; remote work is not an option.
• Windows Operating System knowledge and Security+ certification, or equivalent, must be obtained within 6 months of hire to meet DoD 8140 compliance.
• Willingness to provide after-hours and weekend support for patching and maintenance as necessary.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting and follow given directions.
• Strong communication skills for effective liaison with external agencies, with capability to work independently.
• Demonstration of professionalism, courtesy, high moral character, and integrity certification is necessary.

• Provide system administration support to the F-18 Integrated Product Team (IPT) at NAWCWD China Lake, particularly for the Desktop Services Team (DST).
• Manage user environments, including administering Active Directory, provisioning user accounts, and managing access controls with tools like Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM).
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network connectivity issues, diagnosing complex problems and recommending solutions.
• Implement and sustain security measures, including antivirus configurations, STIGs, encryption, PKI, ensuring compliance with DoD standards while monitoring and applying patches for vulnerability management.
• Support the administration and maintenance of all connected workstations for seamless integration and continuity.
• Ensure compliance with cybersecurity regulations and controls.
• Offer technical support for organizational projects and coordinate activities with IT management and other technical teams.
• Optimize system performance through monitoring, testing, and analysis to guarantee high availability and integrity of workstations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve the IPTs mission and provide implementation support for new projects and services.
• Develop and uphold installation and configuration procedures, participating in R&D to continually enhance organizational environments and processes.
