Job Details:

• The Stockroom Lead (SRL/SAS) plays an important role in the success of the STEP team. They set goals, coach key behaviors, track productivity, and communicate their progress.
• Use this training tool to ensure all new and existing SRL/SASs understand their roles and responsibilities.
• Start with a clean Stockroom. Make sure the floor is clear of debris, and that there is no merchandise left over from the day before.
• Organize your Team and assign daily tasks. Fill out your Individual Productivity Tracker and communicate to each Associate their goal for the day.
• Prepare all needed supplies and equipment:
  • Hanger Racks and Nub Pouches are fully stocked, Hardtag Caddies have all the necessary supplies and are organized.
  • Fully charged Handheld and Ring Scanner is available for scanning. 
• If not already, set up Pods and Workstations, arrange the Nestaflex rollers and processing equipment, place trash can near the Y split.
• Fill in the days delivery information on the Pace Board and share this goal with your STEP Team. 
• Share your sense of urgency and your confidence in your team’s success.
• Evaluate your trucks carton count, and determine if additional equipment is needed (i.e. Do you need an additional Nestaflex for apparel? How many Pods do you need?)
• Review the scheduled Associates and assign them to their daily task. Do any of them need to be cross-trained?
• Ensure all STEP Team members have completed their daily SET assignments.
• Ensure your STEP Training Tracker is updated and filled in to reflect designated shoe and handbag Associates.
