The Senior Product Manager (Sr. PM) is responsible for translating strategy into tactical
execution, effectively managing product strategy from iterative discovery through delivery. They oversee the development, planning, and management of complex digital products and programs with broad scope, high impact, and long implementation time frames. The Sr. PM ensures both technology and business changes are managed effectively while maintaining flawless day-today operations during transitions.

They collaborate with product sponsors, stakeholders, and customers to review product
proposals including goals, time frames, and funding limitations, ensuring alignment with business objectives. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills and a passion for creating exceptional client experiences.

  • Demonstrate a deep understanding of customer problems and articulate a compelling product vision, leading by example in problem-solving and customer-centric discovery practices
  • Drive app performance KPIs like crash rate, app-store rating, active users and NPS
  • Manage relationships with Apple/Google app ecosystem partners
  • Facilitate continuous discovery, including frequent user research, to understand
    customer needs, balance desirability, viability, and feasibility, and drive alignment through reviews of discovery artifacts with cross-functional partners and leaders
  • Deliver on time, on budget, and with superior quality, managing all aspects of product development and implementation, including business changes and technology conversions
  • Lead product ceremonies for cross-functional product squads using modern SDLC best practices and methodologies, ensuring high performance and collaboration
  • Create an environment of psychological safety for innovation and foster a strong sense of ownership within the team
  • Develop and refine a product roadmap, drive a prioritized product backlog with highquality epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria
  • Align product strategy with technical capabilities and constraints, encouraging the use of modern technology
  • Coordinate activities and report regularly to the product team and leadership; regularly conduct team retrospectives and drive resulting actions
  • Develop problem statements and perform deep analysis to support client experience opportunities, ensuring accountability for both short- and long-term product results
  • Design and execute A/B tests. Use data to continuously evaluate and adapt strategies based on test results, focusing on delivering measurable outcomes
  • Accountable for ensuring the quality of features delivered by the trio and achieving defined OKRs (Outcomes and Key Results)
  • Foster strong collaboration with engineering, design, and business teams to ensure alignment and integration
  • Engage in personal development to develop competencies in leadership and translating strategy into tactical execution
  • Become the SME for MyBlock and serve as a bridge between Product, Engineering and Marketing stakeholders
  • Own backlog, release planning and prioritization for MyBlock mobile app
What you'll bring to the team...:

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or the equivalent through a combination of education and related work experience.

Work Experience:

  • 5 years of experience in product management experience to include leading large products that involve significant business and technology change
  • Prior experience as PM of a consumer mobile app, preferably in the FinTech space
  • Experience integrating with vendors for app notifications and analytics
  • Expertise with technology delivery/software development methodologies (notably Agile, Lean, DevOps)
  • Experience leading teams in a matrix management environment with demonstrated record of establishing priorities and deadlines
  • Experience developing and managing product budgets
  • Knowledge of business case development including cost/benefit analysis, NPV, and current and future state assessment
  • Advanced oral, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong presentation and facilitation skills necessary to communicate and influence a wide range of audiences
  • Advanced ability to oversee tasks and delegate responsibilities to squad members or adjacent teams, while providing straightforward and effective feedback and communication

Pay Range Information: The pay range for this position is listed below. Local minimum wage laws apply.
