And we do it all with heart, each and every day. **Position Summary** CVS health has an exciting new opportunity as a Pharmacy Technician on our CarePlus Specialty Pharmacy team in Washington DC. The team specializes in MS, Oncology, Hepatitis, HIV, Rheumatology, Dermatology, and Transplant and Gastrointestinal diseases. As part of the team, you will be leading an innovative and bold initiative aimed at transforming health care and pharmacy leveraging new and emerging information, technologies and channels. You will be essential to ensuring medication has been filled correctly and be responsible for accurately entering prescription information as needed. You will also be asked to contact patients to arrange delivery or set a pickup date, perform refill reminder calls, accurately fill medication orders, prepare orders for delivery, packing/shipping medication orders via various carriers for final delivery to the patient, maintaining adequate inventory, managing inventory functions, helping walk-in customers, performing cash register transactions. The pharmacy is open Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 6:00pm and we are seeking someone to work full time. **Working Schedule** : Monday - Friday: 9:30am - 6:00pm EST We offer a comprehensive benefits package which includes medical, dental, vision insurance as well as a wide-ranging list of supplemental benefits and discount programs. **Required Qualifications** + 1+ years of experience as a pharmacy technician or in a clinically-based customer service representative role. + Must have active registration as a pharmacy technician with the District of Columbia (Washington DC). **Preferred Qualifications** + Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT or ExCPT) + Bilingual - Spanish & English **Education** + Verifiable High School diploma or GED is required. **Anticipated Weekly Hours** 40 **Time Type** Full time **Pay Range** The typical pay range for this role is: $17.00 - $34.15 This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.
