This individual will play a vital role in maintaining the quality, reliability, and functionality of the organization’s software systems. Software Quality Assurance Tester II Role Overview:
As the Software QA Tester II, you will be responsible for designing and executing test cases, identifying software defects, and working closely with development and product teams to ensure software products meet the highest standards of quality and user satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Test Case Design and Execution
Review and analyze system specifications and requirements
Develop, document, and execute comprehensive test cases and test scripts
Conduct functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing across web, mobile, and desktop platforms
Defect Management
Identify, document, and track bugs using tools such as Jira, Bugzilla, or similar
Collaborate with development teams to reproduce, diagnose, and resolve issues
Verify fixes and conduct retesting to ensure issue resolution
Collaboration
Actively participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives
Work cross-functionally with developers, QA peers, product managers, and IT teams
Process Improvement
Recommend enhancements to testing procedures, tools, and workflows to increase efficiency and effectiveness
Contribute to the continuous improvement of quality assurance practices
Reporting and Documentation
Create detailed and clear test reports and documentation
Provide feedback on software usability, performance, and functionality
Qualifications:
Required:
3–5 years of hands-on experience in formal software testing in an Agile environment
Proficiency in test case management tools (e.g., TestRail, Zephyr)
Knowledge of various testing methodologies, including functional, regression, and usability testing
Basic SQL skills for database validation
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Experience writing and managing complex test cases for both existing and new software
Preferred:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
Experience with Monday.com
Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 tools
Experience testing Salesforce customizations and Apex applications
Experience with React.JS and WordPress web applications
