Job Description

Triaplex, Inc. is looking for Software Engineer with a background in C++ and Python to join our team. This position will support a mission-focused customer during the full life-cycle development of a Radio Frequency Processing System . Additional experience with RF or digital processing algorithms and frameworks is a plus.

Key Responsibilities

Analyze user requirements to derive software design and performance requirements
Debug existing software and correct defects using C++ and Python.
Utilize RF domain knowledge to implement processing stages and algorithms.
Provide recommendations for improving documentation and software development process standards
Develop or implement algorithms to meet or exceed system performance and functional standards
Assist with developing and executing test procedures for software components
Design, develop and modify software systems, using scientific analysis and mathematical models to predict and measure outcome and consequences of design
Ensure quality control of all developed and modified software
Confer with system engineers and hardware engineers to derive software requirements and to obtain information on project limitations and capabilities, performance requirements and interfaces
Generate automation scripts as appropriate to improve workflow and efficiency.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in computer science or related discipline from an accredited college or university
At least 7 years' demonstrated relevant experience as a Software Engineer using C++ and Python.
Four years' additional relevant software engineering experience may be substituted for a Bachelor's degree
TS/SCI with polygraph

Desired Skillsets

Demonstrated experience with Kubernetes / K8s, CI/CD, Sprint Development
Proficient developing in C++ and Python 3.0
