Job Responsibilities:

Develop and deliver comprehensive social science lessons that align with the American Curriculum standards, fostering students' understanding of history, geography, civics, and economics.

Create engaging learning experiences that encourage critical thinking, inquiry, and active participation in social science topics.

Utilize a variety of instructional strategies, resources, and technology tools to enhance students' learning experiences and facilitate deeper understanding of social science concepts.

Assess student progress and performance through a variety of formative and summative assessments, providing timely feedback and support to promote academic growth and achievement.

Collaborate with colleagues to integrate interdisciplinary connections and real-world applications into social science instruction, fostering connections across disciplines and promoting holistic learning experiences.

Engage with parents, guardians, and stakeholders to build strong partnerships and support students' social and academic development.

Requirements to APPLY 

• Bachelor's degree in Social Science, Education, or a related field.
• Teaching certification or licensure.
• Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience, with a focus on social science subjects.
• Strong knowledge of social science curriculum standards and instructional practices.
• Proficiency in using technology tools and resources to support social science instruction.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.
• Passion for inspiring students and fostering a love of social science in learners.
