Job Description

Our Fortune 500 Medical Device client has an exciting opportunity for a Senior/Principal Business Analyst Consultant.

Job Summary:
Pharmavise is seeking a Senior or Principal-level Business Analyst Consultant to lead a comprehensive process mapping and value stream mapping project within the Urology division’s commercial sales organization. This initiative focuses on evaluating and documenting current-state commercial workflows across Evaluate, Purchase, Activate, and Service phases of the capital lifecycle.

The ideal candidate will have experience documenting business processes, building capability matrices, and identifying operational improvement opportunities. This role requires strong facilitation, analytical, and process optimization skills — along with comfort working autonomously across a matrixed stakeholder environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end process mapping and value stream mapping activities across sales, order management, customer care, field services, and clinical functions.
  • Conduct interviews and facilitate workshops with stakeholders across multiple functions to gather process insights.
  • Identify process inefficiencies and capability gaps to flag areas of operational improvement.
  • Support system transformations by clarifying commercial operational processes.
  • Identify areas where delays or errors impact the customer journey.
  • Generate a repository of assets for internal teams’ education on core processes related to capital and service.
  • Develop and maintain documentation including:
    o Process inventory list
    o Current state process maps
    o Value stream maps
    o Business capabilities matrix
o Pain point and gap analysis matrix
    o Customer touchpoint journey map
    o Interactive explorer of processes
    o Executive summary/final report
    o Bi-weekly project status report
  • Collaborate with business owners from Field Selling, CETS, Customer Care, Clinical Services, Sales Ops, and Product Marketing.
  • Align findings with enterprise systems including Salesforce (SFDC), SAP, GSMS, Tableau, and Contract Hub .

Required Qualifications:
• Minimum 5 years of experience in business analysis, process improvement, or commercial operations consulting within the Medical Device sector
• Bachelor’s Degree Required: Preferred majors - Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Healthcare Management, or Systems Engineering.
• Master’s Degree Preferred: Especially in Business (MBA with operations focus), or a technical master’s in healthcare systems.

•  Certifications: Six Sigma, Lean, or PMP

•  Experience in Capital Equipment Lifecycle specifically launch-to-service processes with a focus on capital products.
• Demonstrated expertise in process mapping, value stream analysis, and capability assessment.
• Strong facilitation and communication skills — able to engage diverse stakeholders and lead working sessions independently.
• With prior success in building business capability assessments and customer journey maps.
• Familiarity with complex commercial process environments and cross-functional workflows.
• Technical proficiency in Microsoft Visio (required), with additional experience in Lucidchart, Miro, or equivalent visual tools preferred.

•  Solid experience in Salesforce (SFDC), SAP, GSMS, Tableau Analytics, and Contract Hub.
• Ability to work autonomously, manage timelines, and deliver high-quality documentation with minimal supervision.

Other Details:
• Start Date: July 1, 2025
• Contract Length: 3-4 months
• Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours/week
• Work Setup: Hybrid – Marlborough, MA (3 days onsite per week)
