Additional information about the company can be found at WhirlpoolCorp.com . **The team you will be a part of** The Supplier Quality team lead, manages and monitors the performance, quality, and continuous improvement of our global supplier base. **This role in summary** This role is critical in ensuring that suppliers meet our standards for quality, delivery, cost, and innovation, and will play a key role in supporting new product introductions and strategic sourcing projects. **Your responsibilities will include** + Leading supplier assessments and audits to evaluate their manufacturing processes, quality systems, and capabilities + Working closely with suppliers to address quality issues, processing non-conformances and deviation requests. + Driving corrective and preventive actions and implementing robust development plans to enhance supplier performance. + Managing all aspects of the Production part approval process + Developing receiving inspection plans **Minimum requirements** + 5+ years of experience in a supplier or quality engineering role + Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Quality or industrial engineering + Knowledge of and experience with ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 Quality management systems **Preferred skills and experiences** + Strong proficiency with problem-solving methods such as 8D, Fishbone diagram, 5 Whys etc., + Proven competency in core quality tools such as Control plans, FMEA, Capability studies, Gage R&R, Gage correlation etc., + Working knowledge of Advanced product quality planning and Production part approval process + Ability to travel up to 15% of the time + Certified quality engineer or Six Sigma green belt **Additional information** Whirlpool's Ways of Working Our goal is to provide an environment that helps you bring your best to Whirlpool every day.
