Our client, an established IT Services organization, are hiring a Senior Jira Administrator to join the team on a contract basis in Virginia. The successful candidate will be responsible for configuring, customizing and optimizing Jira to enhance workflow efficiency and support enterprise-wide initiatives.
Responsibilities
As the Senior Jira Administrator, you will configure and manage projects, workflows, issue types and screen settings.
Develop and maintain custom fields, schemas and permission structures.
Administer user accounts, roles and access permissions.
Ensure security compliance and adherence to organizational policies.
Implement automation rules to streamline repetitive tasks.
Integrate Jira with Confluence, Bitbucket, GitHub and other relevant tools.
Monitor and optimize system performance and stability.
Perform Jira upgrades and ensure compatibility with add-ons.
Design and refine dashboards and reports for enhanced visibility.
Collaborate with project leads to align Jira with enterprise objectives.
Skillset
Proven expertise in Jira administration, including configurations, workflows and automation.
Well-versed in Atlassian tools and system integrations.
