The Quality Assurance Analyst is responsible for analyzing requirements, developing test plans, creating test cases, and documenting application defects for internally developed software (.Net and Oracle applications). This role supports medium-scale projects used by both business units and taxpayers. The position is primarily remote with approximately 10% onsite work required.

Responsibilities:
- Analyze requirements to develop test plans.
- Create test cases for software applications.
- Document application defects.
- Participate in software development processes, including requirements analysis, technical design analysis, system and user testing, and problem resolution.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously in high-pressure situations.
- Synthesize feedback and adjust accordingly.
- Work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Learn and apply LEAN concepts, principles, and tools.
- Understand and solve problems using intermediate analytical skills.
Required Skills & Certifications:
- Minimum of two years' experience in quality assurance testing and analysis.
- Knowledge of quality assurance software testing tools and methodologies.
- Knowledge and understanding of software development processes.
- Effective verbal, written, and listening communication skills.
- Effective organization and time management skills.
- Effective interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in PC use in a Windows environment, Internet, and MS Office Applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Proficient in Google Suite applications (Gmail, Sheets, Docs, Drive).
- Proficient in systems such as Google Suite, TFS, Azure DevOps, and Altova.
- Ability to clear a comprehensive background and clearance process, including tax compliance verification and a criminal background check.
Preferred Skills & Certifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
Special Considerations:
- Candidates must be available for in-person interviews.

- Must be able to exert up to 20 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently.
Scheduling:
- 40 hours per week.
- Primarily remote (90%) with 10% onsite work.
