SUMMARY

As a PV Designer (CAD), you're the digital architect behind our engineering projects. Your proficiency in CAD tools brings blueprints to life and ensures precise, detailed plans. Join our team and play a pivotal role in transforming concepts into tangible structures that shape our future.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide construction document production support
• Coordinate with various design team disciplines including civil engineers, structural engineers, and surveyors
• PVSyst/ CAD to create construction documents and perform quantity takeoffs. Construction documents will include site layouts, wire/cable routing plans, single line diagrams, construction details, equipment, and conduit details etc.
• Create wiring/cable schedule-based takeoffs and sizing input from senior designers and engineers
• Maintain awareness and knowledge of EVS design/CAD standards and provide input for improvement

QUALIFICATIONS

• Associates Degree or Technical School Certificate in Electrical Design, Solar Design, Architectural/Engineering Drafting, or related degree
• 2-5 years of experience in the drafting/design of electrical power/distribution systems
• 1+ years of experience with Microsoft Excel
• Must have proficiency in PVSyst/ CAD 
• Experience and knowledge of basic electrical design concepts
• Working knowledge and ability to read construction drawings and specifications
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills
• Strong work ethic and a positive attitude is
• Must be a supportive team member, able to work in a collaborative environment
• Self-motivated with an ability to balance multiple projects under tight deadline
