Position Summary :

The Professional Affairs Coordinator will provide administrative and data management support at the direction of the Director, Professional Affairs Administration. This will include data entry, data verification, work activity report processing, payment request creation, and various administrative support requests. The individual will assist in providing both internal and external customer support and must insure timely responsiveness and resolution to all related issues. The ability to work and coordinate projects between internal departments is required.

Essential Functions :

  • Supports data entry, work verification, payment request generation, filing and general data management within Professional Affairs. Maintains the Payment Tracker including the input of the quarterly Royalty payments.
  • Prepares reports for surgeons and the Compliance Department upon request.
  • Assists in the training of all departments in the utilization of the Annual Needs Assessment.
  • Provides Compliance Department with invoices and corresponding documentation for auditing purposes, on a quarterly basis.
  • Works closely with Chief Compliance Officer & Regulatory Counsel in ensuring that all surgeon payment documentation is compliant.
  • Identifies and communicates process improvement opportunities.
  • Provides direct support to the Director, Professional Affairs Administration as needed.
  • Adheres to the letter and spirit of the company Code of Conduct, the AdvaMed Code, MedTech Code, and all other company policies. Ensures Compliance with applicable governmental laws, rules, and regulations, both in the United States and internationally, by completing introductory and annual training and maintaining knowledge of compliance as it applies to your role
  • Represents the company in a professional manner and uphold the highest standards of ethical business practices and socially responsible conduct in all interactions with other employees, customers, suppliers, and other third parties

Qualifications :

  • Associates degree in Business or related field preferred
  • Minimum 2 years administrative experience working in a corporate environment. Experience with contracts in a legal environment a plus
  • Requires minimal instruction and supervision
  • Performs advanced tasks with high level of detail
  • Able to recommend revisions to processes
  • Strong verbal written and communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment
  • Exceptional time management skills
  • Strong analytic capabilities
  • High proficiency with MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
