Job Title: Proctor Job Description We are seeking dedicated individuals to assist with proctoring exams for students with disabilities. This role is critical in upholding the standards of the Rehabilitation Act and the Americans with Disabilities Act. As a proctor, you will ensure a fair and accessible testing environment, safeguarding the integrity of the exam process. This is a part-time, at-will position that may require travel between campuses. Responsibilities + Administer exams to students with disabilities according to the standards provided by instructors. + Maintain the integrity and confidentiality of exam materials during testing. + Read, write, or type for students with disabilities if required. + Pick up and deliver exams to various campus locations using campus transportation. + Perform other duties as assigned by the Exam Administrator or equivalent staff. Essential Skills + Ability to sit for extended periods, up to 8 hours. + Attention to detail and ability to follow detailed instructions, rules, and regulations. + Excellent communication skills, both oral and written. + Previous customer service experience. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Must not be currently enrolled as a student. + Completion of proctor training is required. + Recent college graduate or someone with a customer service experience preferred. + Previous experience in disability services or health fields is a plus. Work Environment The position offers two shifts: 8:00am - 4:30pm and 12:00pm - 9:00pm. Work may be conducted on multiple campuses, necessitating travel between locations. Proctors are expected to maintain a professional demeanor and uphold the standards of the testing environment. This position is moving extremely fast as this is an urgent need for the client. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Newark, NJ. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $15.49 - $15.49/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
