Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Pizza Cook to join our dynamic kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and a love for crafting delicious pizzas. As a Pizza Cook, you will be responsible for creating high-quality pizzas that meet our restaurant's standards while ensuring food safety and cleanliness in the kitchen. This role requires creativity, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook pizzas according to established recipes and customer preferences.
• Ensure all ingredients are fresh and properly stored, adhering to food safety guidelines.
• Operate kitchen equipment such as gas pizza ovens, mixer, and knives safely and effectively.
• Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area, including workstations, utensils, and equipment.
• Assist with food preparation for catering events as needed.
• Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and communicate needs to management.
• Follow all health and safety regulations related to food handling and preparation.

Experience

• Previous experience in a restaurant or kitchen environment is preferred.
• Familiarity with food handling practices and food safety regulations is essential.
• Experience in the food industry, particularly in pizza preparation or catering, is a plus.
• Ability to use kitchen tools effectively, including knives and cooking equipment .
• Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards helping others in the kitchen .
• Excellent time management skills to ensure timely meal preparation during busy periods.
