Job Description

Heirloom Market in Wethersfield, CT is looking for a pastry prep cook / line cook / prep cook to join our expanding team. Our ideal candidate is an experienced self-starter, ambitious, organized, efficient and engaged. The position is part-time or full-time with lots of room for growth for the proper candidate.

Responsibilities Include:

• Assisting chefs with food preparation
• Cooking and plating food for customers in an open-kitchen
• Organizing food storage
• Storing, stocking and maintaining Mise en Place.
• Set-up and breakdown of line, including proper cleaning of station
• Maintaining prep lists

Qualifications

• 2 years experience with food preparation, line work, pastry experience a plus
• Must be punctual, organized, clean, and focused
