Odessa, Texas

COMPANY PROFILE: 
This private practice employs a small team of orthopedic specialists who are dedicated to serving patients in the greater Odessa and Midland area out of their 3 convenient office locations.  They offer a wide range of services for a full scope of orthopedic conditions, with providers trained in neck and spine, hand and wrist, arm and elbow, shoulder, hip, leg, knee, and ankle and foot.  They are currently seeking a new spine surgeon due to growth.

POSITION DESCRIPTION:
The new spine surgeon will see patients in an established office and surgery center in Odessa.  The majority of patients are recovering from personal injuries.

Duties of the role include, but are not limited to:

- perform necessary surgical procedures in the treatment of injuries or symptoms
- consult with patients to determine appropriate courses of treatment
- examine patients while ordering, performing, and interpreting diagnostic tests
- obtain information on medical conditions to determine diagnosis
- provide consultation and comprehensive management of patients
- monitor patients’ conditions and progress
- reevaluate patients’ conditions and progress as necessary
- support appropriate referrals

The full details of the position are negotiable and will be collaboratively decided between the practice and the physician.  

They are open to surgeons who exclusively do spine surgeries, but can offer more volume for spine surgeons who also do interventional pain and general orthopedic surgeries.

REQUIREMENTS:
- Texas medical license
- DEA
- Board Certified or Eligible, Orthopedic Surgery
- Fellowship, Spine Surgery
- visa candidates welcome to apply
- no experience required
- ability to do general orthopedic and/or interventional pain surgeries a plus
