Working Conditions

• This position in located in the Riverpoint Marketplace area of West Sacramento (10 minutes from downtown), near the IKEA. Our building offers a free parking lot to employees and is within walking distance of numerous restaurants and shops.

• This position is eligible for a hybrid telework option, in accordance with CAL FIRE’s telework policy, and will be required to report to the office as needed/required. The successful candidate must reside in California upon appointment.

• This position may be required to work more than 40 hours per week during training and year-end seasons. This position requires the incumbent to travel 15% of the time withthe potential for overnight stays. over.

STATEMENT OF QUALIFICATIONS

Instructions: A Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) is required to be submitted along with your state application to be considered for an interview. The SOQ should be no more than two (2) pages in length with one (1) inch margins and in Arial 12-point font. Resumes, cover letters, and/or other attachments will not be accepted in lieu of a completed application. Number each response and include your name on the upper right corner of the SOQ. The SOQ should describe your experience that addresses the following:

1. Describe your knowledge and experience with state service or public sector Procurement processes.

2. Describe your experience communicating programmatic information, updates, or policy to de-centralized stakeholders.
