Bright Vision Technologies has an immediate opportunity Mainframe COBOL Developer

Role : Mainframe COBOL Developer
Location: Columbus, OH
Duration: Long term contract

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, and deploy mainframe applications using COBOL.
• Analyze and troubleshoot issues in existing mainframe applications.
• Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards.
• Optimize and enhance mainframe application performance.
• Maintain documentation for all development activities.
  
   

Qualifications for the Mainframe and COBOL Developer:

 

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Proven experience as a Mainframe and COBOL Developer.
• Proficiency in COBOL, JCL, CICS, and DB2.
• Strong understanding of mainframe architecture and operating systems.
