Machine Operator (Machine Shop) | Cache Valley, UT

Nexeo HR is hiring a Machine Operator (Machine Shop) for a reputable metal fabrication company in Cache Valley specializing in precision manufacturing. Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor metal fabrication machines such as CNC, laser, press brake, and shear.

• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders to ensure accuracy.

• Set up, adjust, and perform minor maintenance or troubleshooting on machinery.

• Inspect finished parts and components to verify precision and quality standards.

• Measure and record material specifications using precision measuring tools.

• Maintain detailed production and inspection documentation.

• Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean, organized work environment.

• Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals and deadlines.

Qualifications

• Previous machine operation or CNC experience required; fabrication background preferred.

• Experience with laser, press brake, or shear equipment is a strong advantage.

• Mechanically inclined with a strong ability to learn and operate complex machinery.

• Excellent attention to detail and dedication to producing high-quality work.

• Reliable, responsible, and committed to long-term employment.

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.

• Must pass a pre-employment drug test and background check.

Pay

$18.00 – $23.00 per hour

Schedule

Day Shift | Monday–Friday | 5:30 AM – 4:00 PM

(4x10 schedule with a rotating day off each week; overtime available as needed)
