Our client is seeking a reliable and experienced live-in caretaker for their private estate in Atherton, CA. The ideal candidate enjoys cooking healthy meals, working outdoors, and ensuring their employer's home is running smoothly. This is a long-term position with housing provided in a separate, private studio cottage on the property. The role includes food prep, errands, pet care, light outdoor work, and general household support.
Responsibilities:
Prepare simple, healthy meals
Assist in maintaining outdoor furniture and garden spaces
Support with light outdoor gardening tasks
Track inventory and purchase household supplies
Run local errands, including grocery shopping
Assist with household organization
Pack and unpack for travel
Support with household laundry
Provide loving care for the family’s 25-lb mini labradoodle
Oversee household vendors
Requirements:
7+ years of similar experience and longevity in past roles
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
Excellent, verifiable references
Comfortable with pet care
Flexible to live-on property full-time
Salary: $80K - $90K per year
