Line Inspector

Somerset, NJ

Hourly Rate: $19.00-20.00

Responsibilities:

• Inspect, verify incoming materials and components against purchase orders
• Document inspection results, report to departments
• Conduct inspections at various stages of the assembly process to ensure compliance
• Identify and report defects or inconsistencies in the assembly line, collaborate with production teams
• Perform final inspections of finished projects before shipment to verify quality, safety standards
• Documentation and reporting, accurately document all inspection activities and corrective actions in quality management systems
• Collaborate with Quality Control Manager to refine inspection processes and implement improvement

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in quality inspection or related field
• Experience 2+ years of experience in quality inspection within a manufacturing or assembly environment, preferably with electric products
• Must be able to use measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers and electrical testing instruments
• Good communication skills, able to work with different teams
• Knowledge in calibration and equipment maintenance
• ASQ certification and experience a plus
