Job Summary: We are seeking a Lawn & Garden Service Technician & Equipment Delivery Driver to join our team. This dual-role position is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining lawn and garden equipment while also handling the safe and efficient transportation of customer equipment for service. The ideal candidate will have mechanical expertise, strong problem-solving skills, and excellent customer service abilities. Key Responsibilities: Equipment Service & Repair:

• Perform basic and complex diagnostics and repairs on John Deere, Stihl, Honda Power Equipment, and competitive brands.
• Service handheld tools, walk-behind mowers, lawn tractors, skid steers, utility vehicles, and equipment up to 100HP.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems using Service Advisor and technical manuals.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, including labor, parts, and service reports.
• Participate in Service EDUCATE Training Programs to develop and enhance skills.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace while following all safety regulations.
• Ensure all service-related paperwork and timekeeping records are completed accurately.

Pick-Up & Delivery Services:

• Safely load, transport, and unload customer equipment using a truck and trailer.
• Execute scheduled pick-ups and deliveries while providing excellent customer service.
• Inspect equipment at pick-up, document pre-existing conditions, and communicate findings with customers.
• Provide basic operational instructions to customers upon equipment delivery.
• Ensure all documents, buyer guides, and sales tags are correctly managed and attached.
• Maintain the cleanliness and standard maintenance of delivery vehicles and ensure compliance with company safety procedures.
• Assist in keeping the lot and showroom equipment clean and orderly in accordance with dealership display standards.

Qualifications & Skills:

• 2+ years of experience in small engine, agricultural, or turf equipment repairs.
• 2+ years of delivery experience, including pulling and maneuvering a trailer.
• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Ability to operate and diagnose a variety of lawn and garden equipment.
• Experience with John Deere, Stihl, Honda Power Equipment, ATVs, skid steers, and utility vehicles preferred.
• Basic computer proficiency for service documentation and diagnostics.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Due to company vehicle insurance requirements, applicants must meet the minimum eligibility criteria for coverage, which includes a valid driver's license and a minimum of four (4) years of general driving experience.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. repeatedly.
• Positive and friendly attitude with a team-oriented mindset.
• Willingness to work Saturdays as needed.
