Position Title: Law Enforcement Ranger
The Miami County Park District is currently hiring for Ranger - Full Time. All testing must be completed by March 1st 2025.
The department requires the candidate PHQ. Candidates can access the questionnaire through their candidate account.

Salary Information: $25.99 to $34.79 per hour depending on qualifications and expierence.

Ohio Peace Officer Basic Police Academy, and mandatory updates

Successfully complete field training and probationary period 1- year
Hiring Process
Complete agency application, NTN test with a minimum score, initial phone interview, panel interview background check conditional offer Drug, medical physical, psychological evaluation, CVSA)
Driving
One or more serious violation(s) in the last year
Two or more at-fault accidents in the last year, where the accident results in property damage in excess of $3,000
More than three moving violations in the last two year period, including traffic citations received as a result of an accident
Any combination of traffic accidents and/ or moving violations equaling five or more in the last two years.

Demonstrated a pattern of motor vehicle violations
