Job Description:

We are seeking a creative Landscape Designer with expertise in Vectorworks, SketchUp, and ideally experience with 3D video production. Experience with LMN Landscape Program is also a plus! Responsibilities:

  • Develop conceptual, schematic, and detailed landscape designs for a wide range of projects.
  • Design using Vectorworks and SketchUp to create innovative and functional outdoor spaces.
  • Produce high-quality visualizations and 3D video animations (including walkthroughs) to showcase designs.
  • Collaborate closely with clients, estimators, project managers, and other team members to ensure designs meet aesthetic, functional, and budgetary goals.
  • Prepare compelling presentation materials, including designs, digital renderings, and video walkthroughs.
  • Assist with site analysis, planning, measuring, and design reviews.
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest trends in landscape architecture and design technology.
  • Utilize LMN Landscape Program for project management, estimating, and maintaining project timelines and budgets.


Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Landscape Designer, with a strong portfolio that demonstrates expertise in Vectorworks and SketchUp.
  • Proficiency in 3D modeling and visualization software, particularly Vectorworks and SketchUp.
  • Experience with 3D video production and creating video walkthroughs and animations is a plus.
  • Familiarity with the LMN Landscape Program for estimating and project management is highly desirable.
  • Strong ability to conceptualize and present designs in a clear, visually compelling way.
  • Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written) with a collaborative approach to working with clients and teams.
  • A degree in Landscape Architecture, Landscape Design, or a related field is preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to juggle multiple projects at once.


Preferred Skills:

  • Familiarity with other design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, Rhino).
  • Experience with environmental and sustainable design practices.
  • Knowledge of plant materials and landscape construction methods.
