Established in 1977, we have established ourselves as one of the largest and most respected headwear suppliers in the United States by combining work ethic and integrity with innovative resources and processes. We service 14,000 customers across multiple channels in the Team, Promotional Products, Hunting/Fishing, and Retail markets. Outdoor Cap also has been feverishly developing direct to consumer business that currently focuses on the headband market. Spawning from the CrossFit arena and now a popular consumer brand, is an exciting component of Outdoor Cap where eCommerce is its primary channel of business.

To be successful as a Junior Applications Developer , you should demonstrate an inquisitive, problem-solving nature, and an ability to learn quickly. You should ask for help from your peers as needed or when unsure of next steps to ensure business impact is avoided.

Skills And Competencies

• Knowledge of ERP systems such as Exenta, Netsuite, Dynamics, SAP, Oracle.
• Knowledge of Cloud platforms such as Shopify, Salesforce, Adobe Commerce, etc.
• Knowledge of latest coding platforms, methodologies, and technologies.
• Knowledge of C#, VB.net, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Restful API.
• Knowledge of Microsoft SQL and Microsoft (or equivalent Java) development technologies.
• Knowledge of middleware design, implementation, and usage (e.g., Mulesoft).
• Knowledge of version control systems (e.g. Git).
• Proficient in general computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Demonstrable business acumen and excellent interpersonal, communication, organizational, and business focused skills.
• The ability to work in a changing environment under pressure and within challenging timescales.

Education And Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Business Information Systems, or related field; or up to 1 year of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Magento Developer, Salesforce Developer, or ERP Consultant certification is a plus
• High sense of urgency
• Positive, can-do attitude

Physical Requirements

• Regularly required to sit, stand, reach, bend and move about the office
• Required to have close visual acuity to perform computer tasks, and expansive analysis and reading.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds infrequently
