What To Expect
Consider before submitting an application: This position is expected to start May 2025 and continue through the entire Summer term (i.e., through August/September). We ask for a minimum of 12 weeks, full-time, for most internships. Please consider before applying. International Students: If your work authorization is through CPT, please consult your school on your ability to work 40 hours per week before applying. Again, please do not apply until you know you can work 40 hours per week. This is required for external applicants. Many students will be limited to part-time during the academic year.

We provide an experience that allows for the intern to experience life at Tesla by giving them projects that are critical to their team’s success.
About The Team
EHS interns engage in variety of activities in a wide range of EHS disciplines. EHS has many teams within the organization. This internship opening is specifically for the Fremont Factory environmental team and will be focused on air, water and hazardous waste management programs at the Fremont factory.
The intern will work with environmental specialists/engineers on various aspects of environmental compliance such as: Air quality permitting and compliance projects; Identifying methods to manage hazardous waste and proper disposal of materials; Recognizing further improvements to manage stormwater and wastewater for our sites

What You'll Bring Currently pursuing a degree in Environmental Studies, Environmental or Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, or Safety Engineering Previous work experience or internships which are environmental focused (Air/Water/Waste)Self-starters who are results oriented, resourceful, analytical, innovative, and intellectually curious Demonstrate strong ability to embrace and adapt to change in a fast-paced environment

Expected Compensation
$20.00 - $26.00/hour + benefits
Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
