Job Description
An independent Travel Agent is responsible for organizing and planning vacations, business trips, and wedding travel for individuals or groups. The role involves coordinating various aspects of travel, such as accommodation, transportation, activities, and other related services to ensure a seamless and enjoyable experience for clients.
Responsibilities:
Customer Consultation:
• Consult with clients to determine their travel preferences, needs, and budget.
• Provide recommendations and information on destinations, activities, and travel options.
Itinerary Planning & Booking: • Create detailed travel itineraries based on client preferences.
• Stay updated on industry trends, travel destinations, and emerging tourism markets.
• Arrange and book flights, hotels, car rentals, and other travel services.
• Secure reservations for transportation, accommodations, and activities.
• Confirm bookings and provide clients with all necessary travel documents.
Knowledge of Documentation & Destinations: • Assist clients in obtaining necessary travel documents, such as passports and visas.
• Ensure clients are aware of any travel restrictions or entry requirements.
• Stay informed about various travel destinations, including local attractions, customs, and regulations.
• Offer insights and recommendations to clients based on personal or industry knowledge
Customer Service: • Address client inquiries and concerns before, during, and after their trips.
• Handle changes to travel plans, cancellations, and emergencies.
Sales and Marketing: • Promote travel packages, deals, and special offers to attract new clients.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients to encourage repeat business and referrals.

Requirements :
• Must be 18+ and live in the U.S.
• Travel experience is a plus but not necessary.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and time manage.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
