Full-Time Live-In Caregiver / Nanny

Family Overview

A warm and supportive family in Wayne, PA is seeking a compassionate, reliable full-time live-in caregiver to support both their 85-year-old father, who is showing early signs of dementia, and their 9-year-old son. The elderly father lives in a separate home near the primary residence and requires light supervision throughout the day, while the son needs after-school care. This paying $30-$36 per hour with a health care stipend of $300.

Primary Responsibilities

Elderly Care (Majority of the day):

• Provide companionship and general supervision to an 85-year-old man with early signs of dementia

• Ensure medication is taken twice daily (via automated dispenser)

• Assist with transportation to and from doctor’s appointments (must have a car)

• Priority must have experience with Dementia patients,

• Assist with bathing and hygiene reminders

• Provide gentle guidance with daily tasks (e.g., putting away groceries)

• Go on walks and outings

• Meal preparation

Childcare (Afternoon):

• Pick up 9-year-old boy from the bus stop

• Supervise him in the grandfather’s home until approx. 6:00 PM

• Support with homework

• Provide a safe, engaging after-school environment

Ideal Candidate

• Kind, patient, dependable, and proactive

• 2 plus years working with Dementia patients,

• Long term work history

• Valid driver’s license and personal vehicle required

• Organized and able to multitask

• Comfortable in a multi-generational household

• Up-to-date and fully vaccinated, including COVID-19

• Able to provide 3–5 professional references

• Must have U.S. work authorization

Additional Details

• $300 health care stipend

• Must be able to commit to full-time schedule and be flexible to family needs
